Week 14 broadcast maps: Chargers-'Boys dominate; Buck-Aikman fume

 

Cincinnati-Minnesota is probably the most compelling match-up of the week, pitting, as we noted in our Real and Spectacular Picks, the league's best defense vs. one of the league's most explosive offenses. The game draws the network's No. 2 crew of Gumbel-Dierdorf and widespread distribution across great swaths of the country.

 

There's only one game in town, and that's just the way CBS likes it: Chargers-Cowboys will be seen everywhere but the Nashville market (they're stuck with Rams-Titans on Fox) and will draw CBS's top crew of Nantz-Simms. The Cowboys almost always get the widest distribution of any team and this week's battle of sexy inter-conference contenders will be seen in more markets than any non-primetime game this season. Somewhere in a hotel in Atlanta, Buck-Aikman fume at the indignity of being booted out of their broadcast home.
