Romo, Brady top individual passing YPA leaders
Cold, Hard Football Facts for Oct 08, 2007
Tony Romo and Tom Brady are each coming off their worst game of the season, but the two continue to lead the NFL in individual passing yards per attempt.
It simply confirms what you probably already knew: Sunday's First Big Game of the season between New England and Dallas should provide plenty of offensive fireworks.
The list of Top 30 passers, sorted by yards per attempt, is below.
(In our weekly Quality Stats, we look at team-wide Passing Yards Per Attempt as a way to rate the effectiveness of each club's passing attack. As a team-wide Quality Stat, we include sacks in the calculation as a way to get the true measure of a team's results each time they step back to pass. This individual list does not include sacks in the calculation.)
