We all know the Falcons can score points. But what really impressed folks down the stretch was Atlanta's ability to prevent them. These big, bad birds finished at No. 2 in Bendability, which measures a defense's ability to "bend, but not break". The Falcons were No. 18 in this stat a year ago, allowing nearly an extra field goal's worth of points (21.1) than they did this time around (18.7). Looking back two years, though, Atlanta's ranking in Bendability (No. 5) was no match for the eventual SB champion Packers, who finished 2010 at No. 1 in the QS Power Rankings.
