Is going to the pro bowl. No joke.

Since Palmer, Brees, Brady, and now Plummer have decided or been forced not to play because of injuries, the AFC's QBs are now Peyton Manning, Trent Green, and Steve McNair.

Why wouldn't Roethlisberger go?

Woah, McNair is healthy enough to go?

Wow, lots of one line responses.

1. Roeth got shafted on the voting I guess.
2. They didn't specify.
3. McNair actually didn't have that bad a year, it's just no one expected him to be a pro bowler.
4. Yeah, he started 14 games. 82.4 passer rating, 16 TDs to 11 INTs, 3161 yards.
5. Apparently he is. If he isn't, then I guess Roethlisberger or Leftwich is next in line.

I heard he owns a timeshare in Honolulu. What a storyline! His parents have gone on every one of Jerome's vacations, did you know that?

The Pro bowl is a beauty contest. All the flashy players that never win anything (Sorry Peyton) get to strut around and make believe they matter. Hello Michael Vick!

CHFF Did a great story last year on this subject. Pro Bowl, Brady v Manning (http://www.coldhardfootballfacts.com/Article.php?Page=109) .

That's remarkable. The AFC is down to their 6th choice for the Pro-Bowl and they're still fielding a better trio of QBs than the NFC.

:D , hey, even I can admit, I would be getting sick of hearing about it too if I wasnt a steeler fan. Thats just how the media is, they have to have some big story.

Well, we have the Greatest American Of All Time on the Patriots. And another guy people regularly genuflect to. But we didn't invent their hype anymore than Steeler fans invented the Gerome hype. It's gotta be almost embarrassing after a while. I know Patriot 'Dynasty' Lore is for me. I can totally understand why people hate the Pats. (And a huge part of me loves it. Because a bigger part of me remembers the god-awful teams guys like Grogan had to try and lead...)

while we are hijacking this thread, while mystery alaska is a fine film.

Slapshot is easily the best hockey film ever.

Any "youngblood" is arguably a better hockey film as well.

Sudden Death is not a hockey movie. It has some hockey in it and was filmed primarily in a hockey arena (mellon arena) but the primary plot undoing a terroristic plot, and not playing hockey.
