THE FACTS

-The Chargers have lost three of their last four games following a bye.

-The loss to Denver was the first time the Redskins lost by 24 or more points with Robert Griffin III as quarterback. The last loss by 24+ was a 34-10 loss to the Eagles to end the 2011 season.

KEY MATCHUP: The Redskins have found themselves turning the ball over more than twice a game on average (15 turnovers, ten of which are picks, in seven games). Denver created five of those turnovers this week, as the Redskins continue their spiral.

San Diego, despite their winning record, provides an interesting respite. The Chargers have just four takeaways (three picks), and give up 4.79 yards a run, third worst average in the NFL. It'll likely be a shoot-out, and one the Redskins would be less error-prone in.
