THE FACTS

-The Colts' 179 rushing yards against the 49ers are the most garnered in the Andrew Luck era, and the most since the Colts' transitional year of 2011, when they ran for 205 on Tennessee.

-Luke Joeckel can't be the entire solution for the Jaguars. Blaine Gabbert, Chad Henne, and a wildcatting Denard Robinson have endured 15 sacks in three games, the most in the NFL.

KEY MATCHUP: The Colts defense is being firmly indented with the Chuck Pagano carbon footprint. In three games, they've come away with nine sacks, three interceptions, and a tenacious 16 deflected passes.

The brittle Jaguars offense takes a sack or an interception on 14.39 percent of their dropbacks. Unless the Jaguars can open the run on Indy's susceptible run defense (4.66 YPA allowed), the Colts will have this one in hand.
