THE FACTS

-The Jets have alternated between win and loss this season, never winning or losing two or more in a row. Their last game was a win over the Saints.

-In Buffalo's first seven games (3-4), they never scored less than 20 points. Since then (0-3), they've scored 17, 13, and 10.

KEY MATCHUP: The Jets statistically shouldn't be 5-4, but they've survived some oddball situations. The team passer rating of 70.57 is third worst in the NFL.

If Buffalo's going to erase the Pittsburgh whipping, they'd better play Geno Smith better than they did the first time, back in September. Their 84.60 defensive rating is average, but that's better than 'average' Geno.
