THE FACTS

-Buffalo scored more than 20 points in each of their first seven games (3-4), but were held to 17 and 13 points in their ensuing games (0-2).

-The Steelers 55 points and 629 yards allowed to New England are both franchise highs. Previous records were 54 points (1941 and 1985) and 559 yards (1988).

KEY MATCHUP: The Bills defense has kept Buffalo alive in games where the inconsistent offense has fluttered. Bills opponents only run for 3.94 YPA, and give up a negative pass play on 11.20 percent of dropbacks. EJ Manuel is, however, cleared to play after several weeks injured.

Forget about the Steelers making headway on the ground, as they're rather anemic there. It's Buffalo's blitz vs. Ben Roethlisberger's guile that will decide this one.
