Harbaugh is a Genius for Sticking with Kaepernick

Alex Smith led the San Francisco 49ers to a 6-2 record and was 7-8 for 72 Yards and a TD during when he left the game against the St. Louis Rams in Week 10 with a concussion.

Colin Kaepernick took over that game, which ended in a 24-24 tie, and led the Niners to a 6-2 record down the stretch, earning the NFC West title, the #2 overall seed in the playoffs, and the 49ers first Super Bowl berth since the 1994 season.

Head Coach Jim Harbaugh has been criticized for bumping Smith due to injury, but after watching Kaepernick rush for 181 yards against Green Bay in the Division Round then overcome a 17 point deficit in Atlanta, it appears Harbaugh made the right choice.
