The Chief Angry Troll, Kerry J. Byrne, not only pines for Buffalo wings and beer, he's also starving for attention. It gives his otherwise empty existence a feeling of fulfillment. Boston-area friends of the Cold, Hard Football Facts can catch him around town all week.

 

Byrne will catch up with Dale Arnold and Michael Holley, the popular hosts of the "Dale and Holley" show on Boston sports radio WEEI (850 AM) at 10:35 a.m. WEEI is the highest rated sports talk station in America and the hosts, apparently in an act of mercy, have been kind to the lowlifes at Cold, Hard Football Facts.com. WEEI streams over the Web, but you must register (it's free).

 

The founder of the girthy 225 Club will stuff his indiscriminating gullet with food from the Boston area's top restaurants as a judge at the Taste of Boston on City Hall Plaza. The family-friendly event will feature entertainment for kids provided by the New England Patriots and Boston Celtics, along with adult treats like beer, wine and great food. Look for Byrne in the judging area and introduce yourself (he'll be the one who pretty much likes everything he's eating). The event is sponsored by The Boston Herald and Entercom Radio's Boston stations, including sports radio WEEI.

 

Byrne will make his weekly appearance on "The Red Zone" postgame show with James Murphy and Brian Malone on Boston sports radio 1510 The Zone (1510 AM) at about 6 p.m. The Zone can be listened to over the Internet at www.1510thezone.com.

 

Don't forget, his Lowly Trollness makes a weekly appearance with Karlson & McKenzie on Boston classic rock station WZLX (100.7 FM) each Thursday at 8 a.m. Karlson & McKenzie are the newest drive-time DJs in town, huge football fans and pretty damn entertaining.
