First round: Hogs run wild!
Cold, Hard Football Facts for April 29, 2011
Here's the results of the first round of the 2011 NFL draft. We'll be back shortly with our first reactions as well as our immediate statisticial needs-based grade for each team and each pick.
The first thing you'll notice is that the Hogs ruled, and that's music to our ears: 21 of the first 32 picks were Offensive and Defensive Hogs. And only one running back was taken, and Mark Ingram didn't go until the No. 28 pick, the latest the first RB has ever been snapped up. It appears that NFL analysts are studying their Cold, Hard Football Facts and know that they don't need to chase RBs in the first round.
