Welcome to sunny Dallas! This was the scene early Friday morning between the Sheraton Hotel and Super Bowl media center across the street, just two days before the big game.
Seems they don't even have ice scrapers down here. Maybe they can put this shot on the city's next Super Bowl application.

Some poor bastard was out in front of the hotel spreading about 10 50-pound boxes of ice melt – by hand. I told him up north that we have machines to do the job. I don't think he's sending me a Christmas card this year.
Needless to say, this city without plows is in shutdown mode. I overheard a woman in the lobby gift shop tell a friend on the phone, "It was like a Sheraton sleepover here last night. Everybody slept in their offices."
