Week 10 broadcast maps: Titans-Bears, Colts-Steelers draw top billing
Cold, Hard Football Facts for November 7, 2008

These nifty NFL broadcast maps are provided each week courtesy of the fine folks at the506.com. The maps offer some cool collages highlighting what Pigskin America is watching each Sunday.

The maps also provide some insight into the NFL, the hot teams, the psyche of fans and the goals of the big pro football broadcasters.

Most of the nation will see our upset special. The Cold, Hard Football Facts called for the Bears to hand the Titans their first defeat of the season. Turns out, the Tennessee-Chicago game will be seen across about 75 percent of the country, with the network's No. 2 team  of Gumbel-Dierdorf calling the action. The Bills-Patriots AFC East battle will be seen up and down most of the East Coast.

A short slate of late games means that a very interesting Colts-Steelers clash will be seen across most of the country, while the eyeball network's No. 1 crew of Nantz-Simms call the shots. Chiefs-Chargers draws largely regional broadcast, much to the joy of fans in the Great Plains who want to revel of Herm Edward's total enlightenment.

Fox is typically "all Dallas, all the time," as loyal viewers of these broadcast maps have come to learn. But the Cowboys are sitting at home this week licking their wounds, denying Fox what is usually its premier team each week. So the Black & Blow Division Packers-Vikings battle draws the network's widest distribution this week, along with the top booth crew of Buck-Aikman.
