San Diego has gone racing up the Quality Stats list, from bottom feeding at the start of the season to above average in all seven different rankings.
Not bad -- hell, we might even have to give Norv Turner some credit.
As for Denver, they are a pretty good offensive team that can't put the ball in the end zone (No. 23 Scoreability) or play defense (bottom 10 in all three defensive stats).
San Diego has the playoffs wrapped up, but should have significant incentive to keep the winning train rolling. If they can finish 11-5 and Pittsburgh loses in Week 17, they'll finish with the No. 3 seed -- which means avoiding Jacksonville in the Wild-Card round, then playing Indy rather than New England in the divisional round.
That's quite a bit to play for. And at home against a team that won't challenge their mighty offense, the Chargers should keep right on going.
The final score: San Diego 35, Denver 20
