Bonzo is getting full of himself, at the worst possible time.

 

A couple of weeks ago, right after he returned to CHFF headquarters after an ill-conceived escape, he started talking (through the Monkey Translator 3000 software) about a new venture.

 

Vegas, baby.

 

Here's what he told us: "Bonzo want pick for money ... Bonzo the best ... showgirls, Bonzo like ... Bonzo go Vegas ... what one-nine-hundred line mean? ... Bonzo want! ... no Celine Dion though ..."

 

Since then, however, Bonzo's put two so-so weeks together in succession, which hasn't dimmed his coin-flipping confidence. He's still got Vegas on the mind even though he went 7-7 vs. the spread last week, nothing to write home about unless you're a monkey (or a 'pundit').

 

However, Bonzo's season mark of 62-40 is still as good as it gets. Bonzo is still beating all of the experts on CBSSports.com with a two-game lead on the surprisingly accurate Pete Prisco (60-42) and a six-game lead on Mike Harmon.
