Play-by-play man castrated as Zips pull out win for the ages

Those of you who had something better to do Saturday night, like pass out drunk or watch the paper-tiger USC dynasty crumble at the hands of Jim Harbaugh's Stanford Cardinal, might have missed the ending of the Akron-Western Michigan game.
You're not alone, either. It looks like not even the players' mothers showed up for this one. (The guys at Sunday Morning Quarterback report that the Akron Beacon-Journal didn't even send a reporter to cover the game.)
But it seems we all missed one of those great fantastic finishes, one being likened to "The Play" from the 1982 Stanford-Cal game. Unfortunately, this didn't quite have the same legendary radio call of "The Play" to embed it in our collective memory. Instead, it has some guy (or maybe it's a woman) who screams as if his balls were cut off.
