1st and 10 poll: mid-preseason edition
For August 19, 2007
Like eating a veggie burger instead of a Wendy's double with cheese, the NFL preseason leaves us unfulfilled.
It leaves a soy-like aftertaste in our mouths that can only be erased by the real thing: regular-season football. The only thing better than that is postseason football, which is like a filet mignon at the Four Seasons.
As we prepare for the main course to arrive, we offer our own little August appetizer: our 1st and 10 poll. After all, if it weren't for pointless polls, how would we get through these awkwardly exciting mid-August days?
